Going back to childhood and my obsession with horses.

I have started drawing horses again. From the age of 5 I became obsessed with horses. I never had a horse and this was what I dreamed of most of my childhood. I read every book, cut out pictures of horses and covered every inch of my wall in these beautiful animals. As I grew older I learned to ride by working all day Saturday at the local stables for a free lesson. As I became an experienced rider, people asked me to liook after a n d exercise their horses. When I wasn’t riding I spent my time drawing horses. Horses became my best friends they helped me grow as a person. They taught me to be gentle and calm. This obsession and love for these beautiful animals has stayed with me and I find I am still able to pick up a brush or spray can and paint the feeling and anatomy of the majestic horse.
